Why I left Wordpress years ago

👨‍💻 I self-hosted Wordpress for years and it grew from a simple blogging platform to a fully integrated CMS with hundreds of plugins and themes.

At some point I realised that WP was a supercar and all I needed was a scooter.

I just wanted a simple piece of software for blogging, stop. Not many other bells and whistles were needed for me.

That's one of the main reasons I left Wordpress years ago.
