These types of AI assistants need to know a lot of personal, private things about their users in order to properly provide useful information.

Having a digital assistant that can help us in our daily routines is fascinating, but at the same time, personal privacy could be at risk.

One solution may be to install AI assistants locally on our devices, but they will still need a web connection to talk to other services and to retrieve information.

Using such assistants will be a matter of trust. I don't know if we're all ready for that.
